With seconds left in the second period, Powell River scored, short handed. #4 Curtis Csuk’s goal was assisted by #16 Cory Burnett.

Alberni Valley started the scoring 10 minutes into the first period with a goal from #9 Tyler Wilhelm and assisted by #15 Beau Wilson.  North Vancouver scored a power play goal from #14 Quinton Blois, assisted by  #18 Spencer Quon and #5 Jackson Tadey.  The score was tied at one apiece at the end of the first period.

Alberni Valley did all the scoring in the second period.  There was 5 power play goals scored by #23 Spencer Pierce, #22 Chase Gaudreault, #14 Gregory Tuckerman, #19 Brandon Antonichuk and #2 Ryan Buse.  The score at the end of the second period, Alberni Valley 6, North Vancouver 1.
